Dr Marie Wessels is a Paediatrician who has worked in the departments of Neurology and Neurodevelopment at Red Cross Children’s Hospital for 10 years. She has a special interest in helping children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families. These disorders affect a child's growth and development, particularly in areas such as, cognition, language, motor skills, social interaction and behaviour. Dr Marie Wessels is trained to identify, evaluate and manage conditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and other developmental delays.
